About the Role:
We're hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Abbotsford plant location.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to person for customers, sales, and production - keeping orders moving, solving problems quickly and communicating clearly.
You'll support customers from order entry through delivery, working closely with our internal teams (shipping, production and sales) to ensure accuracy, timelines, and a great customer experience.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Enter and manage customer orders accurately (email/phone/portal).
- Confirm pricing, product details, lead times, and shipping requirements.
- Provide order status updates and proactively communicate delays or changes.
- Coordinate with production and shipping to meet customer requirements or requests.
- Prepare quotes, order confirmations, and basic documentation as needed.
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and issue resolution with professionalism.
- Maintain clean, accurate records in Galaxy Plastics systems (Sage/Outlook/Excel).
- Support the sales team with administrative and customer-related tasks.
- Contribute to process improvements and customer experience initiatives.
- Other duties as delegated by management.
Qualifications:
- 2 years+ experience in customer service, order desk, inside sales support, or a similar role in a manufacturing, B2B or dealer environment.
- Bilingual (French or Spanish) considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with superb multitasking skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of shipping processes (LTL, couriers, BOLs, pickups).
